Letter from Taiwan
I really enjoyed the character Bree and her exciting adventures. I was really amazed with Bree's courage. Even though she was taken from her family and to a different country she knew nothing about, she still had courage....Thank you again for such a well-written, exciting book.

And from Germany
My name is Janna and I am from Germany. I hope you can understand my English. Please excuse my mistakes if there will be some.
I read the first six books of the Adventures of the Northwood in German and I have the first one in english. I love these books and I'm interested in this box set from book 6 to 10. What do they cost and how could I get them here in Germany.
Yours sincerely,
Janna, 16, Germany
Letter From a Dad
I am a father with a 14-year-old son. We have read your books together for the past few years and I really enjoy the time with my son. I actually still read them to him one chapter each night. He can read fine but this is something we did when he was younger and have carried over until now. What I was wondering will there be any more Riverboat books? We have all of them up to the Fiddler's Secret.
I also want to thank you for your well-written books. I was never much of a reader but I enjoy the suspense and the history (another thing I did not like very much). Your books are more than entertaining. A person can actually learn something if he is not careful! Thanks again. M.
And from a Mom
Thank you so much for writing the Viking Quest books. Recently our family was in a Christian bookstore together. My son and I were looking for books that we could read together. He is very proud of his Viking heritage, and when I spotted your books he was very excited....We read a little at breakfast, and he is able to come home for lunch, so I read while he eats lunch, and then we read before bed. I enjoy the books as much as he does, and best of all, we are being strengthened in our faith. John, my son, has even said to me, "Courage to win, Mom!" And I have encouraged him in the same way. Thank you for strengthening us in Jesus.

Dogs can read too!
I love your Viking books! When our family reads them aloud together, even our dog listens.

More about Riverboats
My favorite books of all time have got to be the RIVERBOAT ADVENTURES. The characters have touched me and have helped me to find my way to Christ. I found myself growing with God right along with Libby.
Sincerely, N. W.

Your books have encouraged me in trusting in God more and more. Your characters, especially Libby Norstad, Caleb Whitney, and Jordan Parker, sound just so realistic! I sometimes wish that they were real!!!!!! I like how you introduced a new character in the 4th book, it kept the story even more exciting than it is!
I guess I'm not really getting anywhere close to the point of this letter but anyway, I was wondering if you were going to write anymore stories for "The Riverboat Adventures"? If you are, that would probably be the best thing in the whole entire world!!!!!!!!!!! I love your books with all my HEART AND SOUL!!!!!!!!!
Love, S. ;)
Tying the Two Series Together
Dear Lois,
Hi, my name is D. I am 12 years old. I wanted to thank you for writing both The Northwoods Adventure and the Riverboat Adventure Series. I loved reading them. One of the reasons that I liked them so much was because I never tire of reading them. I have read each of the Northwoods Adventure books more times then I can count. I just started reading the Riverboat Adventures, but I already love reading them as well. Both series really inspire me in so many ways. I never really liked reading until I started reading your books. I was kind of disappointed when the Northwoods Adventure books ended, but I just wanted to thank you for writing both series. I love reading about Kate, Anders, Erik and Libby, Caleb, and Jordan. I also love how in the last book in the Kate and Anders Series, that you mention Libby and Caleb. I thought that was awesome. Anyways thank you so much.
